The race is for teams of two and consists of three long stages with some tough climbing challenges. The race is geared towards the everyday rider who would like to try a multiday event.
Stage 1 White River via Brondal and Sudwala Caves to White River. Distance: 107 kilometres. Total ascent: 2,400 metres. Keep in mind the final testing 25 kilometres, it is wise to keep something in reserve for the tough closing stages.
Stage 2 White River via Brondal, Nelspruit and KMIA Airport to White River
Distance: 80 kilometres. Total ascent: 1,292 metres. The tough hills on the way out become tricky descents on the way home.
Stage 3 White River via Sabie, Long Tom and Brondal to White River. Distance: 113 kilometres. Total ascent: 2,055 metres. The third day is the longest featuring a nine kilometre climb up the Long Tom Pass. The balance of the ride offers panoramic views of the Lowveld with long undulating climbs and fast descents.
Stage 4 White River via Madiba Mills to White River. Distance: 38 kilometres. Total ascent: 372 metres. Time Trial Day. The familiar out-and-back course is fast
