The route starts in Sutherland and ends just outside of Ceres. From the start you climb 1700 metres to the Roggeveldberg and the highest point. There are four checkpoints with cut off times: The first is at the top of Ouberg Pass, 46 kilometres into the race at 10h00. The second at Zeekooigat at 97 kilometres at 13h00. This is also a spectator point. The third is at Bizaansgat at 147 kilometres at 16h00 and the final check point is the Intersection R355/R356, another spectator point, at 196 kilometres at 20h30.
