To be sure, this is a race for the brave-hearts. The longer 65 kilometre ride has about one third single track and over 1,000 metres of hill climbing. The route includes a precipitous downhill section of over two kilometres on the side of a mountain. It is rideable but you will need to exercise extreme caution. The balance of the route involves either jeep track or normal gravel roads. The shorter 40 kilometre route has plenty of pristine single track. And the scary hill? It is there for you too. The total climbing on the short route is about 450 metres.
