The event is made up of three races. There is a harder 50 kilometre ride, an intermediate route of 25 kilometres and a 10 kilometre fun ride that is specifically designed for younger riders and novices. The longer ride is designed for technical competence with an easy finish over the Reddinger Dam. The intermediate course starts off with the longer ride and turns off, weaving through farm trails, cattle tracks and a river bed trail with a challenging climb up Ola Hill.
The emphasis of this race is on single track. There is no other race in KwaZulu-Natal that boasts as much single track as this. All the sections are staged within indigenous bush and slime in your tyres is essential. The event will be staged for the 15th time in 2019. Funds raised from the event go to the local game conservancy and community outreach projects,
