There are three distances to choose from, the longer 75, intermediate 45 and short 30 kilometre ride plus a 15 kilometre fun ride.
The opening stage is a fast flat ride on farm roads heading towards the farmland of Wolwefontein and the first stretch of single track. There are sections with granite boulders, moss and aloes creating a natural garden on the second half of the single track trail. The route then heads back to Darling and beyond to where the real climbing starts. Finally you head down to the Waylands Flower Reserve, back alongside the railway track towards the finish.
The 45 and 30 kilometre routes are designed for the moderate rider who enjoys a generous mix of jeep and single track, can handle a climb or two and is not up for a longer time in the saddle.
The short route offers all the novices both old and young the opportunity to experience a flat fast ride outside of Darling.
